Reply to your message: We should not propose a fee for this kind of administrative change. There are few reasons for that. 1) This is just a workflow change and an internal procedural change for the USCIS. 2) There is no need for any additional incentive for the government as this is in effect not taking anything extra from the US soil in terms of opportunity etc. 3) Any addition of fee requires administration to get it approved through the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and it will make this a legislative affair. I had the first-hand opportunity to meet and see IV core members working for our cause. Really, it gives you the chill that thinking its the same GC everyone on this forum wants but the dedication with which they are approaching is amazing. There is no point talking about what we "could have done" after the congress session is over and god forbid, our bill doesn't pass through. 2008 is all about elections and the citizens, not too much of immigration will come to forefront, so please think.....

T I am not a core member, but I trust these guys, they have been working hard putting in their own hard-earned money for travelling, and carrying out IV work. At this point, IV really needs two things, more members and more FUNDS . IV needs you to contribute, even if it is $20

what makes you think that EB3 are just graduates only? i worked in top 3 telecom company with B.tech+ 8 years experience before joining that company as full time employee in 2000 Jan. they started by GC process in JAn 2001.
but they have a company policy that all will be filed as EB3 no matter what. i have my colleagues who have masters from US, but still EB3. what do you say ?
what pisses me off is today i have more than 15 years of experience in IT , (yes Information technology only) and still in the line with EB3.
I'm happy that atleast EB2 is moving but at the same time there must be a balance for EB3 as well. that's all my point

Your first post seemed asking only career wise successful folks who have patents/inovations and are affected by retrogression. I did write my story and then reread your first post, then thought to myself: my story is just similar to that Italian lady! The only thing different is she probably would have gotten her green card without much trouble, unlike my process.

Anything and everything works.
I have literally recieved stories of stay at home moms (because of H4 they cannot work) to folks who have been interviewed by MIT! The whole spectrum helps.....please please send us your stories...we need all the weapons when we go face the senators on behalf of IV

US immigration policy is to get foreign people only when certain skills are not available. There are lot of laws are there to protect US jobs while hiring Foreign persons. And some more may come while increasing immigration. Some times it might not be enforced correctly. It is the mistake of US enforcement agencies and Companies but not the mistake of immigrants. Many immigrants are creating jobs here. Yes you have to complain to authorities if any one violated immigration laws. But there is no use of blaming all the immigrants. There is nothing wrong in increasing immigration with the protection of American jobs. If protection is not enough then you can ask congress to increase more protection of US jobs. But moderate increase of green card is needed. And IV goal will not increase immigration numbers and will not create unemployment in Americans because the persons will stay till getting green card. So it does not make any difference if they increase or not increase GC numbers. But it will make many persons life easier.
I am surprised that I haven�t been banned yet. Since, I am not; I will fight till the end. Now, you fellas must be eagerly waiting for my replies. Though you are not worth my time, but have patience, I am still going to reply to you all one by one, clearing any doubts you might have.
