Hi Kirupa,
Can you please provide me with the source code for "Accessing the Parent" in VB .NET? I am in urgent need of it......
I did the below piece of code ...

I wondered why the top of the stamp design was rounded :) I think this would look better without the rounded edge. But the design itself is really good!

Hello,
I am currently working on OPT. My company has just applied for my H1B visa. Assuming it gets approved in 2-3 months time (i.e. in March), when can i have it stamped? Can i go back to my home country to get it stamped in April or will i have to wait till 1st Oct 2011 to get it stamped?
What is the starting date on your H1-B petition?
You cannot get a VISA stamp earlier than within 20 days of the start date (I actually do not recall if it is 20 days or 15 days -- but it is around that many days).

Option 1: you can get someone to take your photograph with a digital camera and then use Passport photos for free - ePassportPhoto.com (http://www.epassportphoto.com) to make sure that it is cropped to size and meets the size requirements. You will need to ensure that the picture is taken correctly though (without shadows, against a plain light background, etc.). You can get more details about the photo requirements from:

Option 2: You can also go to any place like Costco or Walgreens and have them take your picture and upload the scanned version of the picture.
I used Option 1 and it worked just fine.

I filed my 485 application at TSC at the beginning of August, still did not get any receipt number, neither are the checks cashed.
Any idea how long USCIS/TSC is taking these days to issue a receipt or cash the checks?

Unless the dependent is going to have his 140 filed under EB1 I am not sure it would help.
But to answer your question, I think it is ok to file. Check with your attorney before you do that though

Hi
While parents apply for a tourist visa, in DS-156 where it says "who will pay for the trip", if they mention "self" do we still have to send an Affidavit of Support.
Secondly, do they have to show sufficient cash in their bank account for the trip or will investment proof be ok.
Thirdly, our extended visa is expiring 28thApr'07 & we've applied for renewal in feb'07. We have n't received the receipt yet. Will our current visa copy be sufficient ?

Just couple of days ago immigration-law.com reported about IV and its efforts to bring relief to high skilled community and 2 days later the site gets hacked. I wonder if anti-immigrants have anything to do with it ...... they may be really scared to IV :D

Is there any rule saying that she has to complete minimum 18 credit hours before going for vacation and stamp.
She has just completed 3 credit house(when was in H4). Is she able to go now and stamp visa?

If you are efiling EAD, you dont have to send photo graphs - USCIS will send FP notice to take a picture. That picture will appear on your EAD.
It is required that you send photos for your ead as they put your picture on the actual ead card. I did not apply for AP so I am not sure about the requirements for that. Good luck to you.
