Big goof up on AP document, my spouses document had my alien number. Thankfully, they recognized it as a USCIS mistake and let her in. She had to wait 3 hours for processing, they also took both AP forms and set up and appointment at USCIS office in SF.
I have to go to SF tomorrow. Couple of qns that some one may be able to answer
1) What should i expect tomorrow?
2) When im there can i ask them any question regarding the status of my case?
On a separate note, i heard from a friend that AP is getting approved in 15 days now. Is that a one off case?

I wouldnt worry too much since its their mistake. They probably just want to rectify it.
On the case status, you can always ask. However yours isnt current in PD nor the processing time.

I would always go by the DOS website first. It looks like the consulate website confused India and China dates.

I had a VERY SIMILAR question
In my case it is simple. Current Immigration status and Manner of last entry is both H1B
In Spouse's case however here is the issue. She has used her EAD and she travelled last year using the AP.
So this is what I wrote under the 2 questions:
14) Manner of last entry: "PAROLEE"
15) Current Immigration Status: "Adjustment Of Status Pending".
IS THAT CORRECT?

Hello Guys,
Do any of you received finger prints notice who has E-Filed EAD renewal between June 25th - June 30th.
We filed on June 29th with Texas Service Center and it's been a month we are waiting for FP notice.

I think it is better. Your EAD and AP will be processed faster because they are in CSC and your I-485 is in TSC, which is better than NSC.

In a recent decision, RUIZ-DIAZ v. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the court ruled that Petitioners who filed or will file a Petition for Special Immigrant Religious Worker Visa (Form I-360) with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (�USCIS�) on behalf of individual beneficiaries are hereby notified that you or your beneficiary may now file an Application for Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) and, if your beneficiary seeks employment status as an adjustment applicant, an Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) even if USCIS has not yet issued a final administrative decision regarding the I- 360 petition. Previously, the I-360 had to be adjudicated before the adjustment package could be filed.
The Court has invalidated USCIS� bar against concurrent filings as an unreasonable
interpretation of the governing statute. Pursuant to an order dated June 11, 2009, USCIS is required to accept as properly filed adjustment of status applications (Form I-485) and employment authorization applications (Form I-765) from individuals who are beneficiaries of petitions for special immigrant visas (Form I-360 (http://www.h1b.biz/lawyer-attorney-1137192.html)), whether submitted concurrently with or subsequent to the visa petition, provided the applications meet USCIS� valid filing requirements.

It depends on how many cases that will be pending approval on October after the surge of applications this July and August.
I think it wouldn't be current for some countries specifically India and China.

I am having my EAD and AP and I am not using my EAD.
EAD expires Sept 08
AP expires Oct 08
My question is
Can I renew AP only ?
If, I do not renew EAD will it be a problem in the future ?
Can I renew it after EAD has expired ?
Also, If I am renewing AP only, when does the 120 days rule come into picture.
Is it with the AP date or EAD date.

I Just heard back from my Fortune 500 company that they will accept the replacement card receipt notice...so it may work. It will help to specifically ask the HR/Lawyer to check the Receipt rule.

Thanks for the reply.But in my H1-B petition the DOB is correctly enetered.In my H1 stamping(Visa) the DOB is not correctly enetered.When i went to Driving licence office they checked my passport DOB and Stamped VISa DOB.and they asked me to get the DOB corrected in the Visa.one of my friend suggested me to goto INFOPASS and get it corrected.
Do u have any idea?
