Lady Gaga Extends Monster Ball Tour to 2011!

Lady Gaga has announced that she will extend her Monster Ball tour next year, even though she passed out three times during her concert in New Zealand.

Her tour promoter insisted the singer was just "tired and dehydrated" Lady Gaga also explains that she would rather die than walk away from a stage "I was so jetlagged, I got in the night before and the jetlag just really caught up with me. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I'd rather die on stage than walk off the stage because I was going to pass out."

Stars such as Ryan Tedder and Janet Jackson have mentioned their concern for Lady Gaga’s demanding schedule. "She works so hard and I told her I think she needs to slow down just a little bit, take some time out for herself."  Says Janet.

The 2011 North American Monster Ball Tour is set to kick off on February 19th in Atlantic City, with arena 10 dates so far confirmed through April 18. Additional dates are expected to be announced. Semi Precious Stones, will open all 2010 and 2011 tour dates. Tickets for the 2011 shows go on sale May 14th at LiveNation.com. Additional information can be found at LadyGaga.com.

Lady Gaga's Special Message for the Fans

A Special Message From Lady Gaga in Regard to her Postponed Performances:

I am so terribly sad about the postponed performances. I wanted to tell you all, that although many assume it's because of Idol, the truth is I have had a high fever and some crazy virus for days, and I am still sick. We are very pleased with how Idol went, but after weeks of not a day off my schedule, my team and doctor felt it imperative that I sleep for a few days.

My friends surprised me with a birthday cake and pinata post show at a friends art studio last night, my spirits are already higher, and I am now straight back to bed to sleep for the next couple days.

But, I could barely sleep in this morning thinking about all of you. And while some I'm sure are inventing curse words for me, the shows have now been moved to bigger venues. for more dancing, more sweating, and more of my props to fit on stage. your support means everything to me, and I am truly very sorry if I've upset anyone. And to my gay fans, please know that I'm always thinking about you, and how I can give you and every tour date the absolute best performance of my life. I will see you all for Dinah Shore this weekend. I love you more than words or music can express.

Love & Art, Sincerely,
Gaga

Yes, it's true! Reuters just reported that Lady Gaga is the first singer in almost ten years to hit the top of the Billboard charts with her first two singles, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". The last singer to achieve this milestone was Christina Aguilera for her one-two punch of "Genie in A Bottle" and "What a Girl Wants". Isn't THAT ironic?

Lady Gaga brought the house down during her American Idol performance. Watch this whole new rendition of the Billboard #1 hit, "Poker Face"!
