Beyonce and Ne-Yo Honor Barbara Streisand

R&B stars Beyonce and Ne-Yo performed a tribute to legendary songstress Barbra Streisand at the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors Gala at the Kennedy Center in Washington, which was recorded Dec. 7 and aired last night on CBS.

The annual Kennedy Center Honors awards are handed out for lifetime achievement in the performing arts.

Ne-Yo - Working on First Movie!

Neyo has announced that he is working on a semi-autobiographical film, to the likes of Eminem’s 8 Mile. Ne-Yo broke the exclusive news to Rap-Up.com.

“We are putting together the next [film] right now as we speak, as a matter of fact. The name of the movie is Venice Beach and basically it’s going to be my 8 Mile, loosely based on [my] life, but not really."

“There’s a lot of room for it to be either really good or really corny. We gotta make sure the script is right, so that’s why we ain’t start shooting yet. We gotta get it right.”

Production on Venice Beach is expected to commence “around December.”
